Terms of Use
Last updated: 23 October 2026
1. Who we are
These terms govern your use of the matchgrind.space website and the Global-Football-API data service (the "Service") operated by MatchGrind. The Service is distributed through the RapidAPI marketplace: subscriptions, keys, metering, billing and refund handling take place on RapidAPI, and RapidAPI's own terms also apply to your use.
2. Acceptance and changes
By using the Service you accept these terms. We may update them from time to time; the version on this page is the current one. Your continued use after a change means you accept it.
3. Accounts and API keys
You get your API key by subscribing on the RapidAPI listing. Keys are personal to you or your organisation. Do not share, resell or republish your key, and do not allow third parties to ride on your subscription beyond what the plan allows. We can work with RapidAPI to suspend keys that leak, swap or systematically resell plan capacity.
4. Acceptable use
- Use the data to build your own applications, websites, analytics and content products.
- Cache respectfully: match polling to the documented refresh cadence rather than exceeding it.
- Do not misrepresent data as your own original work product in a way that traces to the Service, and do not remove attribution where you display a data source.
- Do not use the Service to break laws, harass, or attack infrastructure, and do not attempt to bypass RapidAPI metering or reach the service outside the published gateway.
5. Plans, limits and overages
Each RapidAPI plan carries a request quota and rate limit, shown on the listing and on our pricing page. Use above a plan's monthly quota is billed by RapidAPI at the per-request rate shown there, rather than cutting you off. RapidAPI's billing records are authoritative for usage and disputes.
6. Sports data and trademarks
Sports data is provided for informative use. Competition names, club names and trademarks belong to their respective rights holders; their appearance in the data is descriptive and does not imply sponsorship, partnership or endorsement. MatchGrind and Global-Football-API are independent of the leagues, competitions and sponsors named in the data, including NBC and the Tanzania Premier League entities.
7. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Sports data can be wrong, late or missing; some matches carry only partial coverage, which every response discloses through its availability flags. We try to keep the Service running accurately and honestly, but we do not guarantee completeness, correctness, uptime or fitness for any particular purpose. Do not use live data for safety-critical decisions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MatchGrind is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data or lost business arising from use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us through RapidAPI in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can cancel a subscription at any time on RapidAPI. We may restrict or ask RapidAPI to suspend access for breach of these terms, key leakage, abuse or non-payment, subject to RapidAPI's processes.
10. Contact
