Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

We built this to collect as little as possible. Here is what actually happens.

1. This website (matchgrind.space)

The site is static HTML. It sets no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no social widgets, and it loads nothing from third parties. We do not run analytics software on it.

Our web server keeps access logs — your IP address, the requested URL, a timestamp and the user agent — for security, abuse prevention and to keep the site up. They are not shared with marketers and are kept for a short window.

2. The API (via RapidAPI)

When you call the API, the request goes through RapidAPI's gateway. RapidAPI authenticates your key, meters usage, and handles billing. RapidAPI's own privacy policy governs that data, which includes your account details, usage records and billing data. We receive aggregate usage counters for customers of the listing.

On our side, serving your request means processing the query parameters and the source IP address at the web server level, as above. We do not build advertising profiles from API traffic.

3. What we do not collect

4. The data itself

The football data returned by the API is factual information about matches, clubs and competitions. Facts about things, not about you. If you publish results in your own application, the privacy story is yours to handle for your users.

5. Your choices

You can cancel your RapidAPI subscription at any time, which stops billing and, with it, collection tied to your API usage on their side. If you want us to look at anything about server-side logs relating to your traffic, contact us through the discussions page on the RapidAPI listing.

6. Changes

The current version of this policy is the one on this page. We will keep it short and honest if it ever changes.
